I had an amazing time spending Christmas at this charming hotel! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore all the local attractions. I really enjoyed the excellent breakfast each morning-it was a great way to start the day. The colonial-style lobby and beautifully old architecture added to the festive atmosphere, making our stay all the more special.
We did face a little hiccup during check-out. There was some miscommunication that made things a bit stressful, but thankfully, the receptionist handled it well and resolved the issue quickly. A few upgrades in the shower and bathroom amenities would also go a long way to improve the experience. it was a lovely stay despite the minor bumps!

My stay was a fantastic value for the money, and the premium suite was just wonderful with great views. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the staff made me feel so welcome throughout my visit.
Breakfast offerings would be even better with more fruit options.

I recently spent a good three nights at this charming pousada while exploring the area with friends. The location is fantastic, right in the city center, and the colonial-style ambiance is enchanting. I particularly loved the friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The complimentary late-afternoon tea buffet was a lovely surprise, and the breakfast spread was excellent. Plus, the old-school elevator added a unique touch to the experience.
I couldn't recommend more this hotel.

We had an amazing time during our city trip. the complementary breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had in Brazil, with fresh fruits, juices, and delicious cakes. the location was perfect with amazing views, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to use the breakfast room for dinner one night. the room was comfortable and charming, and we enjoyed the added comfort of air conditioning.
Although we had a great experience overall, the loud and prone-to-odd noises air conditioning unit was the only thing less than perfect. with all of our luggage, the room felt a bit too small and there were too few real drawers in the furniture.

During my Christmas stay, I had the pleasure of enjoying the hotel's excellent location, just a stone's throw away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet removed enough to give you the impression of being quite a way from the action. , I enjoyed their private parking service, which allowed me to park my vehicle without fear of it being vandalized. Lastly, the hotel provided a really lovely breakfast which included various options that satisfied my sweet and savory cravings.
The front desk service wasn't as friendly as I would have liked and, unfortunately, the hotel neglected some basic services, such as having a map available at the front desk or providing umbrellas on rainy days. These little offerings would have made a difference for tourists who are not familiar with the area.

This accommodation is perfectly located for those wanting to be in the heart of town. You will be only a few steps from the main square, and the surrounding shops and restaurants. the rooms are comfortable and come with extra blankets in case it gets chilly. Lastly, the breakfast spread is diverse and delicious, with staff ensuring it is always fully stocked.
It would have been nicer to be greeted with a smile at the reception desk, as the staff seemed preoccupied.
